Winthrop has a traditional Wild West style, including a bar named Three Fingered Jack's. It did initially seem that "Three Fingered Jacks" is a card game played by very rough ex-cons & cowboys but this is as yet unconfirmed. Of course we all remember "Scabby Queen" where children delight in smashing each other's knuckles with a deck of cards.
