A chap with a 20 year old Jeep Cherokee had broken down and was without cellphone reception. Assistance was offered with a working cellphone. A somewhat drawn out 30 minute conversation with Melissa at Triple A then followed. Surprisingly, the conversation covered some of the basics of American geography, (Florida and Wyoming are 'far apart' and not in the same place) but once the finer points of location were agreed, roadside recovery was arranged. A rather good deed was thus completed.
In order to redress the karmic balance a waitress at a diner was offered honest 'clothing advice'.
"Those shoes with that skirt? Are you sure?"
"Have you tried getting dressed with the lights on?"
The word "Luv" was used liberally as well.
The waitress seemed rather unimpressed..
