Wet Reflective Road at Traffic Light

A wet road is always a great opportunity for bouncing light.

Main Street EA Snowmelt

Melting snow near the traffic lights on Main Street.

Fallen Petrol Station Light

The petrol station light was pushed over by the snow or more likely a snow plough. For now it illuminates a small snow cave.

Can you see the dripping?

East Aurora Snow Cleanup

Following the November 2014 Lake Effect Snow Lynn tidies up.
The equipment on the back of the tractor is a large snowblower. For those untrained in the art of "snowblowing" keep hands, arms, legs, dogs, kids etc. well away.

20th November East Aurora Icicle View

Oh for some skis, a sled and some huskies.
Later on, anyone fancy drinking vodka off roof water icicles?...... Perhaps not.
Again the graininess is due to low light and a high ISO.

20th November East Aurora View

At 6AM the view through the front door includes: more snow on the ground, falling snow and a working petrol station with customers.
The petrol station is starting to look a little distant behind mounds of snow.
The graininess in both snaps is due to low light and a high ISO.

Snow Bound Traffic

Distant Car

Can you see the car in the distance?
This shot was taken during daylight hours.

Snow Falling on Road

Snowy Doritos

It is heartening to know that snacks are still being delivered.

18th November Drive to Work

And then there was snow.
This qualified as enough to bring in a "driving ban". This means a police officer can give you a ticket (fine) for driving when a ban is in place. It also means the roads are quiet.
