GM Building, Detroit

Woodward Dream Cruise Hot Rod

A very tidy hot rod, judging from the high air intake, this one appears to be "blown".

70's Red Interior

This interior is still quite vibrant despite it's obvious age.

Rat Rod at Woodward Dream Cruise

A Rat Rod is a bit like a Hot Rod in that it is a modified vehicle. However, a Rat Rod looks intentionally much rougher. This is a fine example of the art.

Go to Detroit, cruise around in your car and look at the other cars on display. Learn what a "hemi" is.

50's Diner Experience

Following an ok cup of coffee it felt good to have a moan about putting hub caps on cars with Mrs K and "workin' for da man". Afterwards, other accurate depictions of diner life were re-enacted and the waitess uttered the word "jerk".

Authentic 50's Diner

Note the doughnuts on the bar.

Oscar Mayer's Weinermobile

The conversation went something like this:

"Wow what is that?"

"Have you not seen the Weinermobile before?"

"Err, does that not look like a..... y'know built onto a truck?"

Apparently, it can also cruise at 60mph on the highway.
"Sure" I hear you say "That's great but how much luggage space does it have?"
Well, luggaage space = approximately 1 large weiner.
