Initially, this looks much like an ordinary Triumph Daytona 675. However, this bike has been very heavily modified. The engine is blown, the swingarm is now a week long and the fairing had to be widened to fit all the new equipment. Also note the air intake at the bottom.
These doughnuts are traditional and made using a cake mix that is deep fried and then coated in sugar. One was purchased, kept in a top box for a couple of hours and eaten. In practise the doughnut tasted much like any other and was still a long way from health food.
The steps are punctuated with light bouldering. Once it was confirmed that the railings were well fixed and suitably shod it was possible to have some fun leaping around. The folk in flipflops had less fun as they cautiously slid to the bottom.
Overall the Versys 650 works very well. By comparison the 2013 DL650 is smoother in most areas. However, the Versys is more than adequate and, it could be argued, has character.
Some very early Christmas and birthday present shopping was completed whilst in Lake Placid at a charming store, Tradewind. The important question to answer now is "Did you get a gift or ammo?"
It might also help to know that ammo was keenly priced.
Sometimes "don't worry it'll polish out" offers a positive view of whatever now needs fixing. There are special occasions though when it really won't just polish out. This product may or may not help.
